Digital Radio Review

If I purchase an HD Radio, will I be able to pick up digital television broadcasts on it?

Before television went digital you could hear regular(non cable) TV stations on a radio. My question is, now that Television has gone digital, if you purchase an HD radio can you still pick up the broadcasts of TV stations?

Best Answer:

  1. No, sorry you cant. (that is unless someone made one with a TV receiver in built)

  2. No as a HD radio and HD tv are two toally seperate broadcast standards now and the frequencies are way off anyway (as most TV audio radios covered up to channel 13 only, with most new digital stations above that around channel 14-51
