I am looking for a long range digital transmitter schematic?
I am hoping for at least 10 miles optimum range. Analog transmitters are also okay. I am hoping to not use the FM or AM radio frequencies.

Anyone have a CCRadio Shortwave radio? and use the “AM IF OUT’ jack?
I just got a new CCRadio shortwave radio. It has a AM IF OUT jack on it and I dont understand it at all. It says I can get a program online to decipher these frequencies that are some kind of digital SW format called DRM. But its just a normal ant jack and it says I use the program to enter the frequencies data to decipher it. How do I enter it. It is an out jack so it only puts out freqs right? But if its a normal ant jack how would i get the info into the program.
Can someone please explain this whole AM IF OUT jack to me and how to use it and where to get this program. Please help. Thanks

Impedance Speaker mismatch?
I have bought a new digital reciever which suggests connecting speakers with an Impedance of 8-16ohm. I still have my old LG speakers, which are 6ohm.
I have connected them up, but I only seem to get audio from the FM radio and (very quietly) from AM radio. There is no audio from a CD or DVD. I have yet to try an external Dolby input (from my PS3). I've also noticed that the L and R disappears on my display when I switch from FM to CD/DVD.
Would the impedance mismatch be causing this? I have read that most systems will mute in the event of such a mis-match, but I think it's strange that the FM audio works and nothing else. Could it be an issue with my receiver?
Basically, I don't really want to have to fork out for some 8+ohm speakers if they won't fix the problem.

I don't think I've incorrectly wired the speakers as they are recognised and work when I switch to FM radio. The amp doesn't see the speakers when I switch to DVD/CD.
Maybe the amp is faulty. It's a old JVC one, but I can't contact JVC as I can't find UK Support contact details from the website.
Just out of curiosity, I opened it up and poked about (as I usually do when I get frustrated) and I noticed that one of the circuit had come loose from it's anchor thing. I plugged it back in and now it seems to work a treat.
